Stock your pantry aheadof time.DO: Pay special attention to the bathroom. Install handrails near the toilet and in the shower. This can help youavoid putting too much pressure on your new joint. You may want to put a chair in the shower in case you needto rest while showering.Do Not: Use towel racks as grab bars. They cannot support your weight. Do Not: Carry anything when you arewalking around. You may need your hands to help you balance.
